New Year, New Knits – The Guernsey shoot at Complete Ltd
Complete Ltd get the new year off to a good start by welcoming in Perry Curties and his team at 125 Creative in to shoot online and product images for newly re-branded heritage knitwear brand, The Guernsey.
The eponymous Guernsey based traditional fisherman’s knitwear factory, was recently bought – lock, stock, and knitting machines by businessman Edward Searle. Searle who owns a home near the factory saved not only the business and the locals whose livelihoods have depended on knitwear manufacture for generations, but also saved and protected the heritage and craftsmanship originated at this Channel Island atelier.
To bring the new collection of artisan sweaters & scarves to a global online audience, Searle appointed 125 Creative agency to re-design an image & branding that reflects the history and heritage of the knitted products. Perry Curties of 125 Creative chose Complete Ltd’s studio to photograph the stills and moving image for The Guernsey’s website and promotional materials.
