i-D marks Chinese New Year with a special 9 covers Issue

To celebrate the 2012 Chinese New Year, fashion bible,  i-D magazine commissioned nine different front covers for their Pre-Spring 2012 issue, entitled ‘Whatever The Weather’ .

Four of the nine covers feature well-known fashion and celebrity figures. The other five showcase a selection of chinese models, who reflect the diversity of beauty in modern China today and were shot by celebrated chinese photographer Chen Man .

Celebrity cover stars for the ‘Whatever The Weather’ issue include Victoria Beckham in her own clothing range photographed by Josh Olins. Dylan Riley photographed by Hedi Slimane and  the model Lara Stone shot by Alistair McClellan .

Complete Ltd collaborated closely with the team at i-D on the production, colour management, the pre-press reprographics and the profile proofing.
