Complete Ltd Create & Produce Wallis Christmas TV Commercial

Complete Ltd recently created and produced the Christmas 2013 TV commercial for High Street fashion retailer, Wallis.

Filming took place in London in October. The commercial was devised, directed and filmed by Complete Ltd in time for its debut airing on the 27th November. For three days the advertisement was aired across the entire ITV national networks to coincide with what is considered to be one of the busiest pre-Christmas shopping weekends. The fourth Thursday of November is Thanksgiving and the day after is traditionally known in the U.S. as Black Friday. It is this day that big stores and retailers kick off the Christmas shopping season with a promotion selling deeply discounted items.

The advertisement that Complete Ltd created was to promote Wallis’s weekend discounting of 30% off everything in-store and on-line. The look of the commercial was a very distinct winter festive feel. The set was crammed with giant glittery mirror balls as a backdrop to showcase the ten different outfits that featured in the twenty second advert. Over the three days, the commercial was seen by millions of peak time viewers throughout the U.K., which saw a consequential increased uplift in weekend sales for Wallis.
