Complete Ltd produce shoot for Wallis at MC Motors

High Street fashion retailer Wallis assigned Complete Ltd to produce images for use in their autumn/winter 2013 look book.

The brief from Wallis was to produce a set of images for their up coming press campaign, which reflected the fashion photography trend for candid, street style imagery. Complete Ltd created an art directed shoot, which included model casting and photographer options, to styling the collection, through to selecting the ideal location to complement the look and feel of the collection. Castle Gibson’s MC Motors provided the perfect backdrop since Wallis required a mixture of solid colour background shots and exterior location images to capture the mood of chic, street influenced, accessible style. 125 Magazine Editor-in-Chief Perry Curties photographed the models wearing stand-out pieces from the collection, such as a butter soft black leather motor cycle jacket worn over a silky printed dress –  a combination that the often street style snapped and grand dame of fashion, Carine Roitfeld would approve of.

MC Motors’s industrial location is full of charm and character and a skylighted roof ; the source of natural light, as well as the untouched Victorian street which runs through the middle, contained all of the aspects needed to create the shoot. The space also boasts wonderfully textured walls which have naturally dilapidated over the past hundred years. Post-shoot, the images were then passed onto Complete Ltd’s Old Schoolhouse studio for all of the post-production and retouching required to perfect images ready for output online and as POS in-store graphics.
