Gossard launch first ever swimwear range

British lingerie brand, Gossard, develops it’s first ever collection of swimwear.

The range of vintage inspired swimsuits and bikinis are due to reach the high street in January 2013.  Gossard have been designing and manufacturing lingerie for over a century and have a large archive of retro designs in which to draw inspiration for their move into swimwear design.

Over the years, Gossard have made their mark by lauching legendary and memorable advertising campaigns. Who can forget the arresting images of Eva Herzigova from 1994 wearing just a black Wonderbra with matching black briefs? Giant billboards through out the nation called out ‘Hello Boys’ to passers-by and it caused a positive media storm. It was a great success for all  - Gossard boosted their profits whilst the millions of women boosted their cleavage.

Shortly afterwards, Gossard’s licence to produce the Wonderbra brand expired. Undeterred, the brand launched the ‘Ultrabra Superboost’ as a response to the previous successes of the Wonderbra. Finding themselves a leader in producing body enhancing underwear, Gossard released it’s Egoboost bra in 2011. It is this best selling uplifting design that Gossard have used as a template for the ten piece collection of bikini bras and swimwear known as the  ’Hello Buoys’ range.

Complete Ltd provided all of the retouching required for the press pre-launch images and advertising campaign, which was shot in London by photographer Cameron James-Wilson.
